Bea weblogic server license error

If you are trying to start the admin server however could not start the server as you are getting the errors related to the license.bea
Then you can use below quick work around to fix this issue.

Download the Standard edition license file from oracle and try.

Download the license file for weblogic platform products

Note:

– License file may get corrupted while transferring to Solaris/Linux box
– Copy all the contents from the downloaded license file and paste it in the solaris/linux box and named it as license.bea

 

Add a parameter in JAVA_OPTIONS  ‘-Dbea.home=path of the license file’ and restart the server and check.
